Aging gracefully

The National Center for Creative Aging (NCCA) is dedicated to fostering an understanding of the vital relationship between creative expression and the quality of life of older people. They offer the first of its kind Arts and Aging Toolkit.

They also sponsor the Beautiful Minds campaign in partnership with life's DHA. The 2010 campaign featured individuals using their minds to do beautiful things without letting age be a barrier. Individuals from 64 to 92 years old were featured in a national photo essay exhibit.

The day all health breaks loose!

The Monday Campaigns is a national movement backed by leading public health schools that dedicates the first day of every week to health. Every Monday, individuals and organizations join together to commit to healthy behaviors that help end chronic preventable diseases.

Their website offers free downloadable resources such as posters, toolkits, and graphics plus Facebook and Twitter links. They also offer widgets which provide automatically updated content for your website. For example, their Meatless Mondays campaign widget provides new recipes every week. Simply copy and paste their embed code into the widget section of your website.

Another campaign is Caregivers' Monday. This provides the latest tips, news, and key resources to help caregivers take good care of themselves, manage stress, and find support.
